Dear Ever-loving Mr. Sukanto Tanoto,

We would all like to say thank you.

Thank you for providing us with everything we have. Our environment, our school, our community, and most importantly… our home.

How are you so successful? Is it because you are so diligent? Everything that has happened to our complex is a reflection of your actions.

When our community was still young and learning to walk, the conditions were harsh. The roads were muddy and the houses were insufficient, but you nurtured us. You helped us take a stand. You provided us with all our necessities.

And now look at us. You gave us the opportunity to taste the flavor of luxury.  We are now one of the richest companies in the world. We children have access to the international world and we partake in worldwide competitions.

All of these advantages are because of you. We may never be able to fully express our heartfelt gratitude.  However, we may try.

Not only are you extremely successful, Mr. Tanoto, you also share your wisdom with us younglings, through the Tanoto Entrepreneurship Series. It is a simply brilliant concept. Teaching young children about skills such as being able to recognize opportunities and working diligently, is a sure way to ensure that the children will grow up prosperous.

If this isn’t enough to prove your influence on us, we don’t know what is. Your exceptional work has blessed our lives…
